I simply can not believe that people are shocked that Brendan Fearon has been released. For those who don’t know, Tony Martin shot both Fearon and his accomplice Fred Barras for attempting to burgle his house. Brendan Feron was only wounded in the legs while Fred Barrras was killed.
Now here we have a burglar who has served a third of a rather excessive sentence, if you consider what has happened to him, and a murderer who has served the full sentence for his crime. People are outraged at this? Are they are outraged that a victim of attempted murder has been put in prison? No, they are outraged because he has not served long enough. They say that due to his previous offences he should not be allowed parole. I’m sorry; I didn’t realise that the justice system should not allow for the possibilty that someone can change their ways.
They, by the way, are mostly Daily Mail readers. Oooh, I hate them. Hate them. The bigoted maniacs. The zealous fools.
Anyway, I think I’ll stop before I become one of them. If anyone disagrees with me, feel free to argue with me either at the forum or the comments section below. I promise I’ll try and make you look like an idiot.
