Reality (television) bites…
I wonder how many times that title’s been used.
9 according to Google. Anyway, reality TV. It’s crap. This seems to be the opinion of the majority, so why do they churn it out? Like many things in life this has a simple explanation. It’s cheap and no matter how much people complain, they still watch it. So, the television companies have something that costs them bugger all to make and brings in guaranteed revenue from advertising. I’d carry on making them, and I hate them.
So, what can you do to get them to stop? Again, it’s simple. Stop watching. If viewing figures go down, companies will be relectuctant to pay for advertising, the shows will stop bringing in the money and they’ll (hopefullly) finally be forced to come up with something new.
Please, for all of our sakes, stop watching. Turn the telly off, read a book, write something, go and browse the web, take a walk, learn a language, listen to some music. Anything. Please?
